Ray Soto was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, born at St. Josephs Hospital. He was adopted by Ricarte and Susie Soto at the age of three days old as well as his older sister by two years, she was adopted at the age of two years old Eileen Soto who has four boys, johnpaul, Julius, James, and Joshua and husband Mike Soto.

Ray Soto has two beautiful girls, Marisa Jordyn Soto (11 years old) and Selena Sara Soto (six months old). Ray is also a devoted husband to his loving wife Debra Lueras.

Ray Soto went to Del Norte High School and graduated class of 1988. He worked for Smith/ Krogers for 14 yrs. and he currently works at Wal-Mart as a manager at the San Mateo location going on 5 years. Ray is also  working on his 20th year in retail management. 

Ray got involved with Prime Time through Frank Villa and Keefe Ricks in mid 2007, and volunteered to help out with the their 1st annual New Mexico Youth Day Holiday, and was touched by all the youth involvement/talent and the volunteers who coordinated and helped out. It was very exciting and an emotional high, and decided he would like to be involved with this to be a role model and mentor to all New Mexico's youth as well as his own.
